IT'S REUNION TIME!!!
Redondo Union High School in Redondo Beach, California, was founded in 1905 just blocks from the beautiful shores of the Pacific. Since then it has spawned classes of thousands of students; but only one had the distinction of graduating in the true "Summer Of love" of 1967!!! In August of 2024 the RUHS Class of '67 will be celebrating a mega-milestone; many of us will be turning an amazing 75 years of age.
Please join us for a very special reunion to be held over the weekend of Friday, August 16th, and Saturday, August 17th.
DETAILS:
FRIDAY NIGHT (AUGUST 16, 2024), we will have small, more intimate gatherings in Redondo Beach homes, from 6:00 to 10:00 in the evening. It will be a free event, with people bringing their own beverages and possibly appetizers. They will be able to travel to different homes or just stay at one home for the entire evening. More info will be coming!
SATURDAY NIGHT (AUGUST 17, 2024) will be at the Bluewater Grill, 665 North Harbor Drive, Redondo Beach, CA, 90277. It will also be from 6:00 to 10:00. The cost will be $75 per person. We will have heavy appetizers, (teriyaki chicken skewers, jumbo shrimp, sliders, French fries, fresh veggies and fruit, cheese platter, beef taquitos and bruschetta…along with homemade desserts.) pix will be coming. There will be a no-host bar.
HOW TO MAKE YOUR RESERVATION AND PAY FOR THE REUNION:
1. Make a check out to Mary Ann Craven ($75 per person) and send it to 433 Beavercreek, Lane, Fallbrook, CA 92028.
2. Send $ via Venmo to: @MaryAnn-Craven. There will be a Redondo/Sammy Seahawk logo on her account so you will know it's the correct one.
3. If you need to pay via Zelle, contact Mary Ann.
4. In all cases please let her know your name (maiden, if necessary) and who your guests might be. Also, include your contact info so that she can contact you to let you know payment has been received.
